General Information for 2023
DEADLINES:
- Entry Deadline: July 7TH, 2023
- Product Delivery Deadline: July 7TH, 2023
- Products MUST arrive by July 7TH, 2023 in order to be judged.
- Please read the “Shipping Information” below carefully to ensure that your products arrive on time.
- Payment Deadline: July 14TH, 2023
COST (U.S Dollars):
- Early entry (Now to June 23rd): $100 per submission for online entries
- Regular entry (June 24th-July 1st): $115 per submission for online entries
- Late entry (July 2nd -July 7th): $125 per submission for online entries
- Payments: Payment for online entries can be made by credit card through Stripe or mailing of check or including it in the shipment and envelope clearly marked. Off-line entry fees can be made by credit card, check, or by wire transfer. The banking information and associated fees for the wire transfer may be requested from us at info@usicheesecompetition.com.
- There is only one entry fee. Winners receive both Physical and Digital Medal images to be used at no additional charge in marketing materials. Winners have the option of purchasing stickers as well as licensing fees for packaging and bottle purposes.
Eligibility & Requirements
- All commercially-produced cheese and dairy products from anywhere in the world are eligible to enter. You do not have to be sold in the United States.
- All entries must be submitted online or listed on the official entry form, which can be downloaded from this website as a paper form (both coming soon). If downloading the paper form, please complete the entire form and sign at the bottom of the page to certify that the statements on the form are correct. Failure to complete the form properly may result in disqualification.
- All entries submitted on time will be judged. If your submission gets stuck in customs, as does occasionally happen, we are prepared to convene a smaller tasting panel for those entries. To avoid this, however, please read the “Shipping Information” below carefully to ensure that your products arrive on time.
- In addition to your entry form, please email the following information to info@nyicheesecompetition.com:
- Link to each brand’s website
- JPG file of your brand artwork (Package Shot and/or Hi-Res Logo)
- Staff Relations Contact (Name, Phone, Email)
- Up to Date Brand Information (i.e. available in what markets domestically and internationally, info on maker, information unique to your brand)
- Each submission must include a minimum 1-pound sample of EACH product being judged. If your packaging is 8oz, then please send TWO 8oz pieces.

- Please register online or by email before shipping your products.
- Please contact us if you have any special requests or if you need to ship/submit before the opening for submissions.
- Include the completed submission form in all shipments to ensure product is submitted in the correct category
- Again, entries must ship a minimum of 1lb. per product submitted for judging. See above “Eligibility and Requirements” for details.
- Shipments will be accepted Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. Entries shipped to an address other than the one above will be disqualified and entry fees will not be returned.
- If you are shipping internationally, please contact us in advance so that we can help you coordinate a broker if necessary.
- The competition, its service contractors, and any officer, staff member, sponsor or director of the same shall not be responsible for the safety of the cheeses from theft or damage by fire, accident, vandalism or other causes. The competitor expressly waives and releases any claim or demand that he or she may have against any of them by reason of any damage to, or loss of, any product entered in the competition.
